I am so nervous too! Such dreaded memories of the last election keep coming up...I can't take another 4 years!

Hopefully we'll both be smiling tomorrow...

Aunt Sandy here, I am for McCain, my life hasn't been so bad the last four years and I have two friends serving in Iraq and Afghanistan who think their sacrifice is making a difference and they are for McCain.
I work for a small business and if Obama increases taxes for anyone that makes $250,000, that includes the business I work for, it will break us and I will be out of a job. That is just one of the taxes that will affect all of us.
I wonder what will happen to small business like trucking and farming if Obama gets in????

A lot of people have high emotions with this election. All I know is, whoever is elected will have one huge job in front of them. I don't think one person alone will save us all.

Sorry-I want to keep the money I work so hard to make as well. I have a family to support and I don't need to finance anyone elses! Life is about choices remember.
Tell Jonnie I have his new coat too.
With love-

Maybe we should have started up a discussion earlier about all this....but I know it causes hurt feelings and then you end up not talking for a week..remember Chris? I respect all your opinions and even if I don't agree with them I still love you.....even if you are Republicans (:
I'll let Jonnie know-he'll be excited, thanks!

Now that we know who our President Elect is, I can't help but have a feeling of hope and change. Yes, a little worried about the raising of taxes, but we'll see how it all works out. We did make history last night, and I'm proud of us Americans.
--Did you ever think you'd hear that from me, Lorrie? :)

Yes, I did (: After watching his acceptance speech, I think all of us americans should be proud, whether you voted for him or not. I am very hopeful, happy, and proud! What a great history making moment and I was in tears looking into the faces of the crowd and thinking of what all the african americans have been through in this country and then seeing an african american family standing up on stage-my kids have been getting such a history lesson lately and I am proud they are growing up in these times (:
