Christmas

Christmas has finally arrived! Sawyer had a really hard time waiting this year and everytime a new gift was put under the tree would just make the wait that much harder!

Here I am making them wait even longer so I can get a Christmas picture (:
We all had a good laugh at this girl's hair.
Checking out the letter from Santa...
Now onto the gift opening!  Cora loved the pouf chair I made for her...
and the dolly daddy bought her.

 Dex enjoying his Christmas bone.
And Cora enjoying the wrapping paper!
We then spent the afternoon with the Wiegmanns.  It was nice to see and visit with everyone.  Here are a few pictures to remember the day...

 Singing Happy Birthday to Jesus.

We ended the night relaxing and enjoying some of our new gifts!
I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at my In-laws after we attended church services at Old Mamre.  We had a lovely time and the kids enjoyed playing and hanging out with their cousins and opening gifts.

Cora sure loved Grandma's dancing snowman!
Ella
Here's all the kids and I honestly think this is the first year where they are all smiling for the picture.
Silly faces! Not sure who Hunter was making a silly face to (:
Opening presents...

We had a great time and it's all thanks to my mother-in-law.
The kids wrote their letter to Santa and put out a Christmas treat and milk when we got home.
and all slept in Alaina's room and talked and giggled (:
Finally the house is quiet and Santa arrived...
and he brought lots of gifts!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a GOODNIGHT!

"All I want for Christmas is my lower front right tooth"

It was a happy day for us today! Sawyer FINALLY lost his first tooth and couldn't have been happier.  He brushed his teeth this morning before school and then reached in his mouth and pulled out a tooth.  He seemed confused at first and then he realized what happened-such pure joy (:

When he walked into school, he went right up to his teacher and smiled just right for her to see and being the awesome teacher she is, she noticed right away and started cheering-just what he was hoping for (:
He got $5, some gum, and a nice note from the tooth fairy.  That morning he was too nervous to look under his pillow, so he made me do it while he nervously looked on.  I'm not sure if he thought she would still be under there or if she forgot or what, but it was sure funny (:
Congratulations Sawyer!
