A little too festive?

Every once in awhile I get in a rut and feel like spicing things up a little (: Well, yesterday I got my haircut-not too crazy or anything and still felt like something more needed to be done. Hair color! Well, my mistake was doing it myself because after all I spent more than I should for Christmas and didn't want to spend another $100 this time of year. So, after searching all the colors, I went with Cherry Chocolate Mocha-Supposed to be a deep chocolate brown with red undertones-sounds pretty right? Well, I think they forgot to add the chocolate and I got a lot of cherry. I was totally in tears last night and my family-so sweet-said I looked really cool-hahah. I know better......
So, now here are some pictures and tell me your honest opinions-should I run out and buy dark brown and try to cover it up or should I keep it awhile?
These pictures don't do it justice-it seems ALOT brighter in real life (: I wouldn't mind so much normally, but it is Christmas and I'll be seeing a bunch of relatives and I don't want to look silly (: So, Dani is it funny to see the pictures after being on the phone with me during them? (:

Also hilarious to know we were sitting in the same rocking chair-I always forget that we have the same one.

As for the hair, it's hard to see. It looks really light on my computer. I think you look beautiful with dark, chocolately hair...with a touch of cherry. So, from my computer view, CB. BUT, if its darker than it is in real life, then stay sweet, cherry pie...cool drink of water, such a sweet surprise. Tastes so good make a grown man cry. Sweet Cherry Pie. Wooooow. Warrant flashback.

O.k. I can't tell really well, either. I want to see it in real life. When I was reading the first paragraph I was trying to prepare myself for the picture--actually, getting ready to laugh--but it looks really pretty in the pictures. Can't wait to see it in person.

it's hard to tell in the photo! It looks really light in some, but I also think it looks really nice!
I say give it a few days before you decide, I know thats hard with the holidays but I don't think it looks bad at all...plus, you never know what color you'll end up with if you try again!

I hope you leave it, I want to see it in person. It looks very pretty in the pictures. You would look pretty no matter what the color is, I say give it a few days.

Cherry-Chocolate Mocha! Sounds like a coffee house drink...do you want whipped cream on that?

Ha ha I wish it was a drink and not my hair. Well, for those of you wanting to see "Big Red" tomorrow, I just changed it-dark brown (: I feel much better!

When I first read your blog, I thought back to my days of experimentation, and remember coming out orange when I tried to dye my hair blond. I think you look good in cherry, yes, in the pics, it looks light, and keep it only if you are happy and comfortable with it. If you change it, go dark brown. MOM

LOL!!!!! I just did the same thing! I am laughing so hard right now. Kara died my hair with box color because I couldn't afford it as well. Now, my blond roots are a strawberry blond while the rest of my hair is almost black. sigh. I am heading to the pricey salon tomorrow.

As for you- it doesn't seem bad in the pictures.
