The countdown begins...

O.K. update time! Do you all realize that there is exactly 14 days until Christmas and I am not done shopping yet!! So that goal didn't happen, but I did get most of them bought-it is just those last hard to shop for people! My new goal is to have everything done by this weekend so I do not have think about buying anything next week. I can't wait for the kids to open their gifts Christmas morning! It has been a little tricky around here hiding gifts now that the kids are older. Plus, Jonnie still believes in Santa, so I had to make sure he didn't see any of Sawyer and Alaina's "santa" gifts as well. They are all shoved in the corner in the basement looking very obvious, but so far I have been keeping them out. I keep thinking of some not so wonderful memories of my sisters and I searching our house for our hidden Christmas gifts and one not so flattering image is of us actually opening wrapped gifts to see what we got and rewrapping them!! Sorry mom, I am not proud. Hopefully my kids will not be like that!!
I am also happy to report that I have accomplished most of my goals! I will be baking this weekend and visiting Santa at the mall and I think those were the last two things I wanted to do! It has been a great holiday season so far and I hope you all are enjoying these days as well!

I thought I was the only sneaky one that pre-opened the presents:). Glad you're reaching your goals, a little bit at a time.

I was just thinking about how easy we have it this year, not really having to hide anything! Things are just piled up downstairs, the girls haven't a clue :)
I have the girls shopping done except for a few stocking stuffers, and we still need to buy the relative presents, but thats it.
Yes- we were horrible, weren't we? We never did find any presents, did we? Only the ones under the tree is what I remember opening.

Unfortunately, I remember finding some in mom's closet one year and looking at them all and then feeling really guilty... Then mad at myself that I ruined the surprise! But....that didn't stop me the next year looking again (:
