Mean Lady

Sawyer and I were listening to the radio when we heard that a boy died in the Mississippi River. I never think he is really paying attention to the radio until he said, "Mississippi must be mean." When I asked him what he meant by that he said, "Mrs. Sippi must be a mean lady to kill that boy." It was funny and sad at the same time.

Snow Day!

The kids are home from school today and are beyond excited!! We dared Jonnie to go get the newspaper for us with no shirt on and he was more than willing to do it. Here he is giggling the whole time:




A little bright spot to counter-act all the white outside is the amaryllis I planted at Christmas time bloomed yesterday. It makes me smile every time I see it. Can't wait for summer!
The kids are all headed out to play in the snow~I love snow days, too!
